These are a few of my favorite things

To my dear Child,

If you never felt pain, then how would you know that I am a Healer?

If you never had to pray, how would you know that I am a Deliverer?

If you never had a trial, how could you call yourself an overcomer?

If you never felt sadness, how would you know that I am a Comforter?

If you never made a mistake, how would you know that I am a forgiver?

If you knew all, how would you know that I will answer your questions?

If you never were in trouble, how would you know that I will come to your rescue?

If you never were broken, then how would you know that I can make you whole?

If you never had a problem, how would you know that I can solve them?

If you never had any suffering, then how would you know what I went through?

If you never went through the fire, then how would you become pure?

If I gave you all things, how would you appreciate them?

If I never corrected you, how would you know that I love you?

If you had all power, then how would you learn to depend on me?

If your life was perfect, then what would you need me for?

Love, Jesus

Thank You One and All

I just wanted to express my appreciation for the good wishes, positive energy, and prayers during this past month. I know many of you have health issues; those I'm aware of are always prayed for by my family and my church. It is gratifying to know that there are people who care!

I haven't accomplished much tatting in the last four weeks; but, my distraction by the Leprechauns actually provided light-hearted moments which often got Loyal and I through the day. Feargal and Scarlett have moved on north..and I pray they will bring the joy amidst s tress that they did in NM and AZ!

I do have a couple of things to share in Tatting. One is an edging; soon as it is scanned, I'll add June Blog news. My purpose today was just to say thank you one and all. It's been a productive day. We got to the polling place and voted, paid the few bills in person, received good news regarding Loyal's staph infection in his hip ~ we probably won't have to go back to Tucson until the end of June for the 12 week check up. We celebrated by having lunch out! Stay tuned....

Isdihara ~ Here is a baaaad pun:

Hared for things NOT to look up, when you live on a ridge ~ everything is down! LOL

Yes, lunch was good. We seldom eat out in Silver. The 3 main food groups are represented. Micky Dee's, Taco Bell, and Wendys (no Jack in the Box_

But we went to a new Mexican restaurant and the food was okay….but not the best we've had…At least it was not un bearably hot. Red Chilie for me!
Loyal likes Green We are a divided family. LOL

Loyal had a lot of angst over the infection. I tend to NOT be a worrier ~ I mean, what good does it do?
Just gives me a headache! :>) And when DH worries he gets really grumpy. He is very weary of my driving him around to his various 'need to go' places. He can get by w/o the cane now…but I nag him; it's good for balance. He named it "Charlie" and Charlie doesn't follow him around very well.

Love you all very much ~ my tatting family.

Glad to see you back home again and hope Loyal continues to improve. The pictures of the ladies playing games and acting young brought a smile to my face.

Glad to hear you both are looking forward again in good spirits.

Staph infections are nasty little beasts. I'm glad to hear your Loyal is improving and his staph is NOT.

Good to have you back and so pleased that Loyal is getting better. So are you the one kicking the football or the one playing hopscotch!!!? Only joking!!

SALLY, I am definitely the one playing hopscotch.. I really disliked 2 sports in school. Kick ball and field hockey ~ too hard on the ankles. Loved playing jacks and hopscotch. And running foot races.

Well, Surgeon decided he wanted to see Loyal's incision for himself after receiving the pathologist report ~ to be on the safe side. Loyal is quite mobile and able to walk without a cane. I think it is good Loyal is seeing his Dr. as I think it will give him piece of mind. The incision is not weeping any longer and the redness is gone. He isn't running any fevers…so I expect a good report.

I'm glad we were able to rest a bit before we had the drive back! We hope to go home Friday morning. What ever happens we are here in this place by God's hand, for His time, and for His purpose and that's good enough for me…

It's only 100 degrees here ~ but it is dry heat! LOL
